What is EstudyLog?

EstudyLog is an iOS study tracker and study timer for students who want to understand where their study hours go, which courses need attention, and when they focus best.

Instead of only counting minutes, EstudyLog connects every study session to a course, study type, topic, note, and focus rating. Over time, those sessions turn into study analytics such as peak study hours, topic coverage, study method balance, and progress by course.

Read the What is EstudyLog guide

Track study hours by course

Log focused sessions for each class, add notes, choose a study type, and keep your weekly study time organized.

Measure focus and study quality

Rate your focus after sessions so EstudyLog can reveal your best study hours, strongest days, and patterns over time.

Turn your syllabus into progress

Add course topics from your outline and connect sessions to them, so you can see covered topics, weak spots, and untouched areas before exams.

Peak Hours

Find your best time to study.

Your peak hours are calculated from your own sessions, so you can schedule hard topics when your focus is actually strongest.

  1. Log and rate. Finish a session and rate your focus from 1 to 5.
  2. We find patterns. EstudyLog compares focus ratings with time of day and day of week.
  3. You optimize. Insights highlight your peak window so your routine gets smarter.

Syllabus Coverage

See your blind spots.

EstudyLog turns your course outline into a topic coverage map, so you can see which parts of the syllabus you have studied and which ones still need attention.

Each topic can show progress toward a goal-based study target. As you link sessions to topics, your coverage rings update, making it easier to spot weak areas before quizzes, midterms, and final exams.

Study Method Balance

Balance your study method.

Time alone does not guarantee progress. EstudyLog breaks your sessions into Reading, Practice, Review, and Assignments so you can see what your routine is actually made of.

A week full of reading can feel productive, but it may leave less room for practice and recall. Your study method breakdown helps you catch that imbalance early.

Motivation Engine

Don't break the chain.

Watch your calendar fill up as you study. Every square is proof that you showed up, even on days when it did not feel like much.

What students are saying.

I’ve been using this app for a couple of days now and it honestly changed how I study. Charts and streaks keeps me more motivated and organized. My tip to get the most out of it is don’t leave your course outlines empty, it makes a huge difference for when you wanna get your plan.

I have used the app for a week now and it has helped me so much on knowing how much time I am dedicating to each one of my classes. There are also many other features that I like but I want to keep my review short. Anyways, I definitely recommend it to any student!

startlearning123

Overall good app for studying but their website advertises a quick add feature where you can log hours without having used the timer but it is not on the iOS app.
